Love and Thunder is now the lowest-rated Thor movie on Rotten Tomatoes

Thor: Love and Thunder is now the lowest rated Thor movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Rotten Tomatoes. Movies overall marks fell to 65% (at time of writing), slightly below Thor: The Dark World AGGREGATE. The latter is currently rated at 66% on the review aggregator’s website and for a very long time was the lowest rated film not only in Thor Series but also in all shared continuity.

Currently, the lowest rated film in the franchise is Eternals, with a “rotten” aggregation of 47%. Other Thor franchise films are ranked relatively higher than Thor: Love and Thunder and Thor: Ragnarok. While the first Thor the film is rated at 77%, Taika Waititi’s predecessor to love and thunder, Thor: Ragnarokis one of the highest-rated films in the franchise, with 93% positive responses.


Thor: Love and Thunder were well-rewarded at the box office with over $600 million in gross worldwide. However, critical response to the film has been mixed. Despite having the lowest critical consensus, Eternals is rated at 78% by audiences, slightly above Thor: Love and Thunder. Captain Marvelat 45%, is the lowest-rated MCU film by audiences.

Thor: Love and Thunder ratings also took a hit at IMDB, where its overall rating rose to 6.8 out of 10. So the response to the fourth Thor the film has been mixed to positive so far.
