Tamil legal drama Jai ​​Bhim, starring in Suriya, will screen at the 9th Noida Film Festival from January 23. Jai Bhim was released on November 2, 2021 on Amazon Prime Video. Director TJGnanavel was funded by Jyothika and Suriya under 2D Entertainment. The news of the blockbuster film being selected for the upcoming Noida Film Festival has been shared by BA Raju’s team Twitter account.

BA Raju’s team tweet reads, “Another feather in the hat, Jai Bhim movie has been officially selected for Noida Film Fest.”

Besides Suriya, the film stars Lijomol Jose, Rajisha Vijayan, Prakash Raj and Rao Ramesh.

The story of the film is based on a true incident of discrimination against a tribal group in 1993. The release of the film had also sparked controversy after some groups claimed that Jai Bhim defamed a particular community. Despite this, the film managed to attract an audience due to its amazing story.

Earlier, Suriya stole the hearts of Telugu moviegoers with director AR Murugadoss Ghajini’s film in 2005.
