The British Academy has circled the date on its 2023 BAFTA Film Awards calendar.
The 76th edition will take place on Sunday February 19, moving the ceremony back to its usual February slot after taking place on March 13 this year.
The move keeps the BAFTAs ahead of the Oscars (held on March 12, 2023), a position they have been in since 2001 and a date change credited with significantly raising the awards profile, making the ceremony an essential pit stop on the way. at the Oscars.
