While appearing as a guest for a podcast, Ranbir admitted he was tired of the show because “it wasn’t fair to those who appear on it.” He also added that he even tried to bring the film industry together to protest it.
In 2017, Ranbir said he didn’t like the show. When asked if he’s fed up, Ranbir said he was forced to appear in a season. In fact, he and his Ae Dil Hai Mukshil co-star Anushka were going to protest and rally the whole film industry because it’s not fair.
Ranbir also acknowledged that he and many stars are so close to Karan that they tend to say more than they usually would on his show. Stating the same, he said that’s the problem – his familiarity and the fact that they know him so well – that you feel comfortable and start to open up, not realizing that a billion people will watch the series.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s “Brahmastra” screen space with his girlfriend Alia Bhatt. The film will also star Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan in key roles and is slated for release on September 9, 2022. Ranbir also has Karan Malhotra’s “Shamshera” starring Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.
